Before you call

Do I need to know what's wrong before I call?

Not at all — "it's slow" or "it won't turn on" is plenty. Describe it in your own words and I'll ask anything I need to know. The chat is free either way.

What does "no fix, no fee" actually mean?

Exactly what it says: if I can't solve the problem you called me about, the visit costs you nothing. You only ever pay the flat price we agreed up front, and only once it's working.

Will you take my computer away?

Almost never — the whole point is fixing it in front of you, at home. In the rare case a repair needs more time or parts, I'll explain exactly why, and nothing happens without your say-so.

Can you help someone who isn't good with technology?

That's precisely who this service is for. I take my time, explain everything in plain English, and I won't leave until you're comfortable. Many of my customers are helping arrange visits for their parents — I'm always happy to ring the family member afterwards with a summary.
